Flight for Life airlifts crash victim from Highway 45

11/10/07 12:43 p.m. TOWN of KEWASKUM- Flight for Life has just taken off from the parking lot of The Amerahn Ballroom on Highway 45 with a male patient who was the driver in a two vehicle crash occurring just south of the highway 45 and County Road V intersection.
Those at the crash site speculated that the victim was driving a newer Ford Mustang across a bridge, lost control and then was hit by a newer GMC Sierra truck who could not get out of the way of the out-of-control car.
The driver of the pickup truck had his wife as a passenger with him. He was was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend with non-life threatening injuries by Kewaskum EMS, his wife accompanied him.
Kewaskum Police responded to the crash at 11:40 a.m. and were later joined by Washington County Sheriff's Deputies who took over handling the investigation of the crash. Kewaskum Fire Department and EMS responded with Jaws for Life, and two ambulances.
West Bend Fire Department Intercept assisted at the scene until Flight for Life arrived on scene.
