Annual Campbellsport Adopt a Family Program getting underway
By ANDREW KUEHL

10/22/07 CAMPBELLSPORT- The Christmas holiday season is once again quickly getting nearer and that means preparing a memorable Christmas for some less fortunate families in the Campbellsport area.

Barb Hensen, one of the organizers of the program is asking for names of individuals or families that are in need of food, clothes and toys for this Christmas. Hensen is asking for those leads by calling (920) 533-4643 or (920) 533-8132.

Hensen and her group of volunteers assures that all names are kept confidential and anyone from the area of Ashford, St. Kilian and Campbellsport is eligible.

The Campbellsport Area Ministerium of Churches and our communities sponsor this program. The group also maintains a year-round food pantry at St. Matthew Catholic Church’s Parish Center.

“Through the generosity of our area’s organizations, churches, schools and individuals, we are able to keep this worthwhile program going,” Hensen proudly boasts.

Giving trees will be in St. Martin, St. Matthew and St. Kilian churches the weekend of November 17 and 18. Monetary donations can be mailed to: St. Matthew Human Concerns, c/o LeNore, P.O. Box 740, Campbellsport, WI 53010.
