Indians will play in post season at home Tuesday Team undefeated after win at Kiel Thursday

10/19/07 KEWASKUM- Announcements for the first round of the football playoffs were made Friday afternoon by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA), and Kewaskum has drawn Sauk Prairie for its opening Division 3 game.
The Indians, who finished with a perfect 7-0 in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference (EWC) and are currently 9-0 on the season, are the No. 1 seed in their bracket.
Kewaskum, a 35-17 winner over Kiel in the EWC finale Thursday night, will host the game Tuesday night, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. Sauk Prairie comes into the contest with a record of 3-3 in the Badger Conference and an overall mark of 5-4.
Several of the teams in Kewaskum’s bracket are from the Madison area, including Madison Edgewood, which is the No. 3 seed with a record of 7-2. Wisconsin Dells was awarded the second seed with a mark of 7-2.
If the Indians win, and they will be favored to do so, they will play the winner of the Jefferson (3-3, 5-4) and Portage (3-3, 5-4) game. Jefferson is a member of the Southern Lakes Conference, while Portage is in the Badger Conference, which is split into a North and South Division.
Many of the Milwaukee are school which have had good seasons, including Greendale, New Berlin Eisenhower, Brown Deer and Wisconsin Lutheran, are in another eight-team bracket.
Greendale (8-1) knocked the Indians out of the tournament last year in a Level Four game, one short of getting to the finals which are held at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.
